Salmon Celery Casserole with Cashews

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp minced onion
2 Tbsp flour
2 Cups milk
2 Tbsp Soya sauce
2-3 drops Tabasco sauce
3/4 tsp lemon pepper
4 tsp. lemon juice
2 cans Sockeye Salmon 
1/2 cup salted cashews
1 cup finely sliced celery
4 oz. can dry chow mein noodle

Method:

In saucepan, cook onion in butter about 3 minutes - do not brown.  Stir in flour. Remove from heat and gradually stir in the milk.  Return to heat and stir-cook until smoothly thick.  Stir in seasoning, tuna (and its broth), lemon juice, nuts and celery and transfer mixture to lightly greased 2 quart casserole dish.  Top with Chow Mein noodles and Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees 20-25 min. until bubbling hot.  Serve with crisp green salad and cheese buns.
