Tips for Hanging Christmas Tree Ornaments

Ornaments are the most vital part of your Christmas tree decorating. Here are some tips to help your Christmas tree look like the ones you always admire in magazines.

1. Start hanging larger ornaments first.

2. Hang ornaments from inside out. Adding ornaments near the trunk gives the tree more depth. You can use the more common ones to go in.

3. Make sure that all ornaments dangle freely. Especially, the longer ornaments like icicles, teardrops etc.

4. Once all the larger baubles have been added, fill in with smaller baubles and ornaments.

5. Save your precious keepsake ornaments for the end and hang them on the outermost branches where they can be displayed with effect.

6. Hang your most precious ornaments at eye level.

7. Make it a point to use some glass ornaments as they add shine to your tree.

8. If the hanging strings of any of the ornaments are broken, use florist's wire or thin ribbons to hang them.
