Pink Gerbera and Hydrangea Flower Arrangement

This flower arrangement has been made in a low rectangular plastic dish.

I have used Phormium tenax purpureum leaves for the height on the right hand side, and a group of Foeniculum vulgare (Fennel) stems on the left. Between these groups in the centre, are some stems of an upright Ivy, Hedera helix conglomerata. A single Cordyline australis leaf arches over from right to left at the back of the arrangement, to give a change of direction.

At the front of the arrangement, the foliage I have used is Heuchera 'Beauty Colour' on the right, then just above this, a group of green XFatshedera lizei leaves, and in the centre, some Acer palmatum dissectum atropurpureum leaves. On the left of this is another Heuchera, this time 'Stormy Seas'.

The flowers used are a group of pale pink Lisianthus on the right, then three deep pink mini Gerbera. In the centre, a group of pink Hydrangea. To the left of this are three red roses and on the extreme left, a group of small pale pink Chrysanthemums with deep maroon centers .

In the very centre of the arrangement is a gold wicker ball and there are several gold twisted cane stems throughout the arrangement, to pick up the gold colour of the wicker ball. All the foliage and the Hydrangea was from the garden, the rest of the flowers were from the florist.
