Thailand > BangkokFamily Friendly Hotels in Bangkok
Bangkok, with its superb amenities and ancient culture, is not
free from prostitution and a particular kind of night life that we
would wish to avoid when with children. More often than not, the
more budget-friendly hotels turn out to be in red light areas and
tourists are in for a nasty surprise. Check out some
budget-friendly hotels in Bangkok that are in safe areas and near
the popular attractions which make them even more convenient when
with kids as the minimize the travel time. As a general rule, try
to get a hotel near the areas of Siam Square, Silom, Sukhumvit to
stay close to shopping areas or Chinatown, Rattanakosin to stay
within easy reach of the temples and the museums.
Amari Hotels
Amari is a chain of hotels in Thailand and they have quite a few
in Bangkok itself. Amari Atrium although lovely is far from tourist
spots but Amari Boulevard is situated fairly well. At any time, do
check their promotions as they usually offer 3rd night free on 2
nights which makes the decision easier.

Holiday Inn
Located close to Central World Mall, the Holiday Inn at Silom is
a wonderful choice for any family. They have a children's pool and
can also provide day care and babysitting services and you can rent
a playstation on request.

This hotel is in an offbeat area but is the prettiest boutique
hotel one can imagine. A healthy Oriental vegetarian breakfast
starts your day and the calm and peaceful surroundings give you a
great start.
Pathumwan Princess
If you wished for location, you couldn't get any better. Located
right next to MBK mall which is where all your bargain shopping is
going to take place and opposite the Siam Discovery and Siam
Paragon Malls (which has a wonderful Ocean World the kids will
easily spend half a day in), you wouldn't want to walk out of the
hotel for long.
