Emma Watson’s Debut Oscar Ensemble is a Winner
Shimmer, shine, silhouette and sophistication – Emma Watson‘s choice of dress for the 86th Annual Academy Awards had it all. She made a lovely picture in a Pewter metallic fine gauge ribbed knit tank and a floor length, black stretch lamé godet mermaid skirt from Vera Wang’s Fall 2014 collection.
Loosely tied side-parted hair with a few starry jewels in them, bare arms with finger rings in contemporary designs, scarlet lips and nails and a metallic clutch completed the winning look at the Harry Potter actress’s debut appearance on the Oscar red carpet.
She chose this beautiful ensemble from Vera Wang’s Fall 2014 collection which is both modern and elegant. Most of Vera Wang’s collection was as she described it – “Dark Romance, A hint of Mystery, Easy Allure”, with even her trademark evening wear bearing a dark, gothic look that could be worn as easily with a statement tattoo as with delicate jewelry.
Emma Watson gave it a red carpet-worthy look by pairing it with delicate hairstyle and accessories.. The two-piece ensemble resembled a gown and showed off her figure to perfection, as she, along with actor Joseph Gordon Levitt, presented the award for Best Visual Effects.
With the great hype surrounding her upcoming Biblical movie ‘Noah’ with Russel Crowe which is being directed by the acclaimed Orcar-winning director Darren Aronofsky, there is definitely more to be seen of this young, beautiful and stylish actress in the forthcoming Oscars. A nomination next year, perhaps?
