Your 2020 Body Transformation
Adulting can be a pain. Most days, many of us ladies would be pretty content in comfy clothes, mum-bun, sans make-up. Unfortunately, going to work ‘as is’ can be problematic if you work in a particularly conservative work environment. Even if we can’t help you change the office dress code, we can suggest some options to save you time in the morning, but still look your best. We think you’re perfect just as you are, but thanks to modern medicine and technology there are a bunch of treatments and procedures that make looking your best a much more efficient process. Here are a selection of our favourites.
Lashes
Lash extensions have been around for quite a while, which means you can get a decent set for a decent price. Lash extensions come in a variety of lengths so they can be subtle or completely OTT. Many people love the look of lashes on a ‘nude’ face, it can make you look polished and made up even if you haven’t put on a full face. Extensions do require regular salon touch ups, so if you are a bit slack on booking repeat appointments, consider a lash lift and tint as an alternative. If you have naturally long lashes, a lift can look quite dramatic. Even smaller lashes will have a noticeable difference as the lift curls the lashes up, albeit a more subtle result.
Brows
If you’re a chronic over-plucker from the 90s, those poor brows might be looking a little sparse. Instead of pencilling in brows every day, consider getting them micro-bladed. As a specialist type of cosmetic tattoo, micro-blading can be used to fill in thin areas or for an all-over shape and lift of the brow line. A feathering technique looks best if you want a natural look, but a bolder block colour is also achievable. Micro-blading fades overtime as it does not penetrate as deep as an actual tattoo. This makes it a good option for your first foray into semi-permanent make-up. After an initial touch-up, expect results to last up to 36 months. However, many people get touch-ups annually, or sooner if you happen to metabolise the ink super quickly.
Intimate areas
This one is more for private transformation, but can be even more life-changing for many women. Following the rise of rejuvenation procedures in recent years, there are a raft of cosmetic and functional procedures available to address a variety of vaginal issues. Thanks to the internet, finding labiaplasty before and after case studies can help you understand procedures that modify the labia minora. Other procedures include vaginoplasty which can address lax muscles in the vaginal canal, clitoral hood reduction, hymen repair and g-spot enhancement. Skin tones and texture can be addressed by laser resurfacing in this area. There are many reasons women seek these types of ‘cosmetic’ treatments, but looking your best down-under often boosts people’s self-confidence and benefits their intimate relationships.
If you’re thinking of learning more, many clinics will offer initial consultations to help you learn more about what types of procedures will be best for you and what results you can expect. The time for you, is now!
