Spread the love

Is candle making your passion? Rather than blowing money on expensive candles every month, we bring you loads of tips to make your own with these easy candle making ideas!!

Whether winter or summer, we can not do without candles! This decorative accessory is much more than just a decorative element as it adds fragrance to our interior, giving it a warm atmosphere. Wood, lavender, vanilla, cotton flower, … vary the scents with the seasons and your likes.

To avoid candles taking up too much of your decor budget, we suggest you make them yourself by following detailed tutorials. Simple, fast and low budget: candle making is the DIY decor that you simply can not you pass. Jars of jam, jars of glass yogurt and old candles accumulate in your closets? Give them a new life  with this DIY candle .

To make most candles, you will need the following equipment:

  • Wax (beeswax, soy or other)
  • Cotton candle wicks
  • A container (jar, jam jar, yogurt jar)
  • Essential oils if you want to perfume
  • A saucepan
  • Skewer picks

Nothing could be more simple, just melt the wax in the double boiler, add perfume or color as you wish and then pour the preparation in the container of your choice in which you will have previously glued a cotton wick.
