Quick & Easy – DIY Gold Leaf Lettering Planter
Planter decoration crafts are a very satisfying project to take up. They don’t take much time and you rarely go wrong. Here is a chic idea for those who love a touch of gold in their decor. Make this quick and easy DIY gold leaf lettering planter in 15 minutes to add style to your indoor plants.
I Will Survive
The wording is inspired by the need for indoor plants to live! Sometimes, it becomes simply impossible to get them to survive when you are not the greenest thumb. If you identify with the situation, go ahead and make an exact one! It might encourage your lovely new plant AND you to make things work this time!
You can of course, change the wording to whatever you want to wake up and see every morning 🙂
What you will need:
– a plant pot
– gold leaves and their special glue
– labels or stickers
– scissors and brushes
How To Make the Gold Leaf Lettering Planter:
1. Write your message on your labels. We thought of ‘Too young to die’, ‘Born to be wild’, ‘Stayin ‘Alive’, ‘Resist’, ‘I want to live’ … no dearth of options here! Cut out the letters and stick them on your jar.
2. Brush the gold leaf glue around the letters.
3. Glue the gold leaf and smooth it down with a soft brush.
4. Now remove the letters with tweezers and the traces of glue with a cotton swab soaked in solvent.
5. Now put in your plant and cross your fingers to make it work this time around!
