Many of us intend to lose weight or simply stay fit. But some of us find it difficult to control our urges of eating food. When food is on the table, it seems easy to charge upon the food and forget all about the diet. Here are some tips on how you can lose weight very easily without being tempted to eat too much food.
Don’t skip any meals. When the food is served, eat it. Don’t try to kill yourself on skipping any meal especially breakfast. You will feel hungrier than before and start eating twice your ordinary meal.
You mustn’t take heavy meals. Eat light. It must be at least half of your plate for the whole meal. However, you can also eat several times so that it will feed your stomach and your stomach gets the message that you don’t have to eat too much.
Try to avoid eating junk food as much as possible. Avoid eating junk food like potato chips, hamburger, hot dogs, soft drinks and other processed and artificial foods. It will not only to give insufficient energy but also insufficient nutrients that causes malnutrition. Drinking soft drinks will not help you in your diet. At first you will feel energetic but in the end, it will feel that your entire body has worn out. Always drink water because, unlike soft drinks, water can replenish your energy and prevent dehydration. We also recommend drinking fruit juices because SOME juices have contents of cleansing our body. Eating energy foods such as cereals, yogurt, celery, granola bars, and sandwiches will help you to give enough energy to start a new day. You also must eat items other than meat because most meats have thick fats that might ruin your diet. If you’re a meat lover, we recommend eating chicken for it has less fats compared to other meats such as pork and beef. Eating LEAN meat is good.
With all the food you eat, you need to Exercise. Your diet will be incomplete without any exercise. Simple exercises like jogging, walking, jumping rope will make a good start. Working out in your nearby gym is optional. Always keep it in your mind that you control your body. Your body can’t break fats and lose weight all by itself, so you need to stand up and exercise!
Finally, you need Rest. Although it isn’t quite helpful in breaking fats, it lets you replenish your energy and relaxes your muscles so you can have enough strength to work everyday. Lack of sleep is one of the reasons most people can’t achieve a healthy diet. They usually feel weak in doing their daily activities. We recommend a good night’s sleep of at least 8 hours. Always remember that having a healthy diet, good exercise and a nice long sleep will help you achieve your goal. It takes patience, perseverance and self-discipline for you to be able to lose those unwanted pounds.
