2 Toned Merry Muffins, Christmas Cake Recipes

Ingredients:

2 cups sifted flour 1/2 cup sugar 3 tablespoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 large egg 3/4 cup milk 1/3 cup oil 2/3 cup chopped walnuts

Method:

Mix dry ingredients together , then combine with egg milk and oil. Stir in nuts and DIVIDE BATTER INTO 2 HALVES. To one half, add: 1/4 cup chopped cherries. Spoon into one side of 12 lg. greased muffin tins. To other half of batter, add: 1/4 cup cocoa powder. Mix well and spoon into other half of muffin cups. Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
