Potted Crab
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 75g butter
- 250g freshly boiled crab meat (white and brown)
- 1/2 tsp ground mace
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
Directions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat then add the crab and mace.
Add the lemon juice then stirring occasionally heat gently for 8 to 10 minutes.
Check the seasoning and add salt and pepper accordingly.
Either serve warm or pour into 4 ramekins and chill until set.
Serve with either toast or soda broad.
