Grilled Corn-On-The-Cob with Different ‘Dressings’
What’s summer without corn on the cob? Try this family favorite with a variety of ‘dressings’.
Ingredients:
- 4 ears of corn
- Salt and pepper
- Vegetable oil or nonstick cooking spray
Directions:
1. Lightly oil your grill grate and preheat on high heat.
2. Prepare your corn by peeling back husks and removing the silks. Don’t completely peel off the husks as you will need to cover them back for grilling.
3. Season corn with salt and pepper and close back the husks.
4. Wrap each ear in foil and cook on grill until tender for 30 minutes, turning occasionally in between.
Dressing Suggestions
Corn tastes wonderful just like this, but if you want, you can jazz things up with the following suggestions:
1. Brush them with your favorite barbecue sauce or chutney.
2. Brush with fresh lime juice and sprinkle with cilantro.
3. Sprinkle chopped fresh herbs on the corn.
4. Squeeze on fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper
We love our corn-on-the-cob brushed with fresh lemon juice, cilantro chutney and butter. You can invent your own ‘dressings’ for this delightful summer favorite.
