Ice Cream Birthday Party: Ice Cream Party Idea
Do you have a birthday party coming up during the summer time? A very simple, yet fabulous birthday party can be planned on an Ice-Cream Theme.
Invitations
Print out this pretty invitation for an ice-cream themed birthday party or use your own creative ideas to make invitations in the shape of a Sundae.
Use pastel colors and prints such as polka dots in paper and fabrics and add ribbons to decorate further. For invitation wording, refer to Ice Cream Party Invitation Ideas.
Decorations
Fashion ice-cream cones out of thick paper such as old wall calendars and tape on balloons to make them look like ice-cream cones. See complete instructions here. Styrofoam and cardboard cutouts also make very pretty decorations. Party supply stores have a number of blow up decorations that can be used for more effect. Make a Happy Birthday banner with each letter printed in the shape of an ice cream cup.
Games & Activities
Party Craft: Take clear plastic Sundae glasses and glue colored cotton balls in it to make fake Ice-cream sundaes. Add beads or chopped crayons to make the ‘topping’.
Games: A classic favorite – ‘Pin the Cherry on the Sundae’. Draw a sundae on a large piece of cardboard and have the kids place a red bottle cap where the cherry goes, blindfolded of course. See more Ice Cream Party game ideas.

Food
Let a lip-smacking ice-cream cake take the center stage with some ice-cream snacks and shakes together with some other finger foods and see the kids enjoy themselves.
