Meringue Cookies, Christmas Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 egg whites — room temperature 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup chocolate chips A brown paper bag
Directions:
Beat egg whites with cream of tartar, salt and vanilla until frothy. At high speed beat in sugar, one tablespoon at a time, just until stiff peaks form. Fold in chocolate chips. Cut brown paper bag to size of cookie sheet and drop cookies, about 1 teaspoon each, on bag. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes and store covered after cooling.
