Oatmeal Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup light Karo syrup
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Method:

Combine oats, sugar, coconut and Karo syrup, and eggs.  Pour into an unbaked shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cover edges with aluminium foil. Return to over and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.

***Tastes just like Pecan pie, only cheaper.
