Papaya Jam
Ingredients:
1 kg papaya 1/2 kg sugar 6-7 tsp. lemon juice
Method:
1. Peel the papaya, remove the seeds and cut it into small pieces.
2. Add sugar to it and mash the papaya pieces well.
3. Cook the mash on a low flame, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
4. Add lemon juice to it and cook until done.
5. Fill the hot jam in sterilized bottles. Seal and cork tightly, when cool.
