Watermelon, Mango and Pepper Salsa – Easy, Chunky Dip for Fourth July or Summer Parties
Blend the freshest flavors of summer to enjoy with chips indoors and outdoors.
Ingredients:
- Watermelon (small cubes) – 1 cup
- Mango (small cubes) – 1 cup
- 1 Green Pepper, chopped finely
- 1 Tomato, chopped finely
- Jalapeno peppers, finely chopped – 2 tbsp
- Lemon Juice
- Bunch of Cilantro, finely chopped
Optional: Hollowed-out Watermelon Shell for Serving
Directions:
Mix watermelon and mango cubes together and crush slightly with the back of a slotted spoon to release juices (if the watermelon is not already filling up your bowl with too much juice).
Add chopped tomato, bell pepper and jalapeno for a little edge. Add lemon juice to cut through the sweetness of the fruits. Finally, sprinkle fresh chopped cilantro and combine the ingredients well.
Serve chilled in a hollowed out watermelon half with nachos or potato chips.
