Green and Yellow Minimalist Arrangement
The inspiration for this arrangement came from the lovely green and yellow swirled glass vase. It has a very narrow neck, and is ideal for a minimalist arrangement.
There is no room for floral foam, so all the plant material has been placed carefully to achieve the desired effect. I have used Corylus avellana ‘Contorta’, which has been sprayed yellow, to give height and outline to the arrangement. There is just one leaf to the left, which is a variegated green and yellow Fatsia japonica leaf. Any more than this would have spoiled the balance of the arrangement. Finally, just three single Lilium ‘Connecticut King’ flowers complete the picture. The lilies are from the florist, everything else is from the garden. |
In my opinion the main. Arrangement is too fussy for true minimalism
