Homemade Recipes for Nail Care
For Strong Nails
Ingredients:
1 tbsp purified water, luke-warm but slightly cooled
1 tbsp witch hazel (preferably grain-alcohol based)
1 1/2 tsp natural honey
1/2 tsp alum powder
Method:
Mix ingredients in a bowl. Soak nails for 10-15 minutes, occasionally massaging cuticles gently. Rinse with cool water. Do not store unused portion.
Smoothing Cuticle & Foot Scrub
Ingredients:
2 tbsp fine sea salt
2 tsp castor oil
1 tbsp wheat germ or sesame
2-3 drops of essential oil (optional)
Method:
Combine ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Rub gently onto damp skin in circular motions. Rinse well or smooth off in a bath. Store unused portion for up to seven days.
