Jatujak (Chatuchak) Weekend Market – Shop Guide

Spread the love

The hot and busy weekend market of Bangkok – written Chatuchak and pronounced Jatujak – is the best place on earth for serious shoppers. The vast market, however, is completely unorganized and you can easily get lost trying to find a particular shop recommended by a friend who forgot to note down the exact lane. We give you easy directions on reaching Jatujak and a small list of some shops within the market.

Shop-owners in Chatuchak are welcome to send their simplified addresses to us for listing in the article for the benefit of readers at webmistress@dotcomwomen.com.

Address: Kampaengpet Road

When to go: The best time to drop in is 10-11am, on weekends.

How to Reach there: Take the BTS SkyTrain and hop off at the last station, Mochit. Or tube it underground by the new Metro. There’s a station for Chatuchak Park but the metro stop for the Chatuchak Weekend Market is not Chatuchak Park, but one stop further at Kamphaeng Phet. The latter drops you right inside the market.
